Tailored Learning & Development programmes

For 20+ years, Acceleris consulting has been at the forefront of the design and delivery of context centric, highly customised, in-company Learning & Development programmes, face to face, virtual, and blended. One of our clients has defined us designers of “haute couture” L&D programmes, which we believe describes well our philosophy and capabilities.

Ranging from a few to several hundred participants, Acceleris has developed fully customised programmes in the following areas:

Some examples of tailored Learning & Development Programmes are provided below.

Our client is a global leader in its industry sector with 80’000+ Staff working across the world.

In 2022, it identified the need to develop and launch a new programme aimed at supporting a cadre of 2,000+ cross functional leaders responsible for the execution of strategic, cross functional, cross regional, and cross business programmes and initiatives which the group has identified as critical to the future of the company.

A fully customised leadership Development Programme was designed and launched by Acceleris in 2022.

Key topics covered include:

  • Leading in dynamic ecosystems.
  • Influencing without authority in one to one and group settings.
  • Dealing with polarities and tensions.
  • Developing one’s resilience and ability to lead change.

Innovative learning methodologies such as working with actors and learning from Jazz improvisation are featured as part of an intensive and immersive 5 day, residential learning and development experience.

Our client is hospital based in Switzerland.

Under the leadership of its new director, it has initiated a process of professionalisation of the people management and leadership function in the institution.

With our support, a people management and leadership development program (PLM) has been designed and cascaded in the organisation, starting with the Executive Management Team.

Because it is fully customised to respond to the priorities and challenges specific to being a manager in a medical environment, the program has been extremely well received from the start.

The PLM has since then become institutionalised.

Managers in International Organisations are facing new and unprecedented challenges.

Less than 6 years away from the 2030 SDG targets, the need to make visible and measurable progress is being acutely felt. Across the world, the unfolding security, health, economic and humanitarian crises are disrupting progress in a number of development areas, putting even more pressure on already stretched programmes to achieve essential and ambitious developmental targets.

In this context, mobilising, engaging and coordinating resources to accelerate impact has become even more critical. This in turn calls upon managers operating in International Organisations to constantly develop their ability to manage, coordinate and lead team and cross team work.

The Accelerated Management Development Programme for Managers in International Organisations (ADP) was first launched in 2017 – building on over 15 years of experience working with IO managers across multiple development sectors. Since its inception 10 cohorts of the ADP has been delivered to Managers from various International Organisations including FAO, ICRC, ITC, GAVI, Unitaid, WIPO, and WTO and the ADP has become a reference in the International Organisations sector.
